Nanomedicines have gained particular interest during the current pandemic: Moderna and BioNTech/Pfizer as examples are in fact nanomedicines. However, they have been around for quite a while, for the treatment of anemia and cancer, just to name two indications. These three presentations of scientists of the Universities of Geneva and Basel (Switzerland) give an overview on what make nanomedicines so special.
